Saturday, March 24th, 10am – 2pm



Humble’s First Assembly of God’s Handyman Helpers and Women’s Ministries are partnering together to help a local women’s shelter plant a 15′ x 20′ vegetable  and fruit garden.  The women of the shelter, many of whom are victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, will have the garden area prepped and ready.


Gardening tools necessary to plant vegetables and fruits tomatoes, potatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, green beans, onions, bell peppers, watermelon and cantaloupe will be provided and given to the shelter upon completion of the project.


Information, such as the name and location of the shelter, is being withheld for the resident’s safety.  If you would like to take part in this project, email Women’s Ministries.
